SGM Marie "M" Wilson, Front and center! You are hereby ordered to assume command of the 20th Brigade, until such a time as a proper application process can be completed.

The requirements for the position are:
- the member must be 18 years of age or older
- must be a member of the Brigade they are serving
- must have passed OTS, PD-10, and PD20 before taking office
Areas of responsibility (for more detailed information, please consult the SFMC Policy Manual):
- Awards: The Brigade OIC is responsible for issuing a number of awards to the marines in his/her care.
- Reporting: The BDE OIC is responsible for reporting the compiled information from the units' reports by their due date and no later. This includes compiling unit reports, dealing with issues that can be handled at his/her level, and completing the BDE Report to FORCECOM.
- Appointment of Battalion OICs
- Working with marines interested in starting a new unit.
